Team pages and staff setup

Set up a team member's own page (profile, photo, intro and work)

Every team member with a booking link has a public page at their own address, like app.nextupwalkin.com/s/your-shop/team/mia-stone. Clients reach it from your website's team section and from the link the person shares. It shows their photo, name, rating, a one-line intro, the services they do with prices, photos of their work, reviews, your hours and address, and buttons to join their line or book them. The person sets most of it up themselves, signed in to NextUp Walk-in. An owner or manager can do any of it for them.

  1. Open Staff in the dashboard and click the person's name.
  2. Add a clear photo, then turn on "Show my photo to customers". It is off until that person turns it on.
  3. Click Booking link and choose a short lowercase handle, like mia-stone. The handle is the page address.
  4. In Public page, write the intro (one line, up to 160 characters) and add the Instagram and TikTok names.
  5. In Photos of their work, add six or more recent jobs with short captions, best first.
  6. Open the page on a phone and read it as a client would.

What makes a team page look professional

  • Photo: square, face centered, good light, plain background.
  • Intro: one line about what they do best, such as "Fades and beard work. Eight years behind the chair." It is separate from the private About box on their profile, which only your team sees.
  • Work photos: six or more, straight-on and well lit, best first, each with a short caption.
  • Services: each service can have a one-line description, a time and a price. The page shows the services that person does.
  • Instagram and TikTok: just the name, like jax.cuts. Leave a box empty to show nothing.
  • Reviews and rating appear only when public reviews are on and the person has enough of them.
  • The page never shows a phone number, email, notes, pay or schedule.

Print the staff setup flyer

Open a team member's profile, find Public page, and click Print setup flyer. It prints a one-page guide with that person's name, their page address and a QR code, plus the setup steps and ideas for sharing the link. Hand one to each person, or print it from Help (Staff page setup) with blank lines to write on.
