Book for a friend, a partner or a child in one go

A customer books their own time, adds up to four guests, and chooses whether everyone goes one after another or all at the same time. You see one booking with the guests under it.

  • Up to 4 guests
  • One after another, or all at once
  • One set of messages
  • Cancel once, cancel all

Bringing someone? Add them

On your booking page, after picking a service and a time, a customer taps Add a guest and types a name. Repeat for up to four guests.

  • A name is all it takes.Guests are booked without a phone number or email. A guest typed with a first name only takes the booker’s last name.
  • Real names. Each guest needs a first name, not an initial, so your team knows who is coming.
  • Remove one anytime.Changed their mind before booking? Remove the guest and the times work out again.
Example: a customer adding guests.

One after another, or all at the same time

When your guests go is the customer’s choice, and the page tells them straight away if it will not fit.

  • One after another. With one person or anyone. Each guest takes the very next opening once the one before ends, so nobody waits around.
  • All at the same time. With anyone, when that time has room for everyone. Picking one particular person is one at a time only.
  • Told when it will not fit.If there is no room for everyone, the page says to pick an earlier time, so the booking is never half made.
Example: the two choices.

One booking for you to look after

The group is linked, so the messages and the cancel are for everyone at once.

  • One set of messages. The person who booked gets the confirmation and the reminders for everyone. Guests are not emailed.
  • Cancel once.Cancelling the booker’s appointment cancels the guests’ too.
  • Clear on your calendar.Your team sees each one as Group booking or Guest of the booker, in the right person’s column.
Example: a group on the calendar.

The small things

  • The usual rules

Hours, blocked time and the limit on bookings at one time all apply to every guest.

  • Moves by phone

A booking with guests cannot be moved online. The customer is told to cancel and book again, or to call you.

  • Book again for later

A group booking is one visit and does not repeat. Book it again for the next one.
