A car wash waitlist app that empties the lot, not your bays.
Drivers scan the sign at your entrance or join from home, see the wait, and get a text when a bay opens. Your TV shows whose car is in the bay and who is next.
What walk-ins are like today
The stuff that eats a shift, before anything changes.
Saturday lines around the block
Sunny weekends bring everyone at once. The line spills into the street and drivers give up before they reach you.
Nobody knows the wait
A full-service wash and a full detail take very different times, so staff guess and customers hover.
Details and walk-ins collide
Booked details tie up a bay for hours while quick washes keep arriving.
How NextUp helps
What changes once the line lives on a phone instead of a bench.
Wait anywhere
Drivers hold their place from their phone and run an errand. If they opt in, a text tells them when to pull up.
Waits that know the job
Each wash, detail and add-on has its own time, so the estimate follows what is actually in line.
Details on the calendar
Book details and ceramic coatings as appointments beside the walk-in line, with reminders before each one.
See it for your car washes & detail shops
Five screens, one system, always in sync — styled the way your customers and team will actually see it.
Also built for
See NextUp vs Waitwhile, Waitlist Me, NextMe and others — price per location, texts included, and who each app is actually built for.
Car washes & detail shops: common questions
Can drivers wait somewhere other than the lot?
Yes. Drivers join from their phone, hold their place and leave. If they opt in, they get a text when it is their turn. Their spot lives in a browser tab, so they can check the wait from anywhere.
Can customers pick a wash package and add-ons when they join?
Yes. Turn on service choice and drivers pick a wash or detail and any add-ons like tire shine or a hand wax. Each one has its own time and price, and the wait estimate adds them up.
Can we book full details and take walk-in washes at the same time?
Yes. Appointments sit beside the walk-in line. Customers pick a service and a time, and confirmations and reminders go out 24 hours and 1 hour before. You can ask for a card on file or a deposit when they book.
How much does a car wash queue app cost?
NextUp is $29 a month for your first location and $19 for each additional one. Every plan includes the TV screen, the door tablet, appointments and 1,000 texts per location each month, then $0.05 a text. There are no per-seat fees. The 14-day free trial needs a card, but nothing is charged until it ends.
Give your car washes & detail shops their time back.
Set up your first location in about two minutes. Your line can be live before your next walk-in.
