Give everyone a number to aim for

Set a monthly target for each team member, see their progress build through the month, and show a leaderboard if you want one. Every figure is one you already have.

  • Visits, ticket, product sales, rating
  • Progress in their own book
  • Optional leaderboard
  • Starts over on the 1st

A target for each person

Owners and managers set a monthly target for each team member. Leave any target empty to skip it.

  • Visits. How many paid bills they finish in the month.
  • Average ticket. What a visit is worth, after discounts.
  • Product sales.Retail sold, after discounts.
  • Review rating.Stars from the reviews on that person’s visits that month, 1 to 5.
Example: one team member’s targets and progress this month.

Progress they can see

The numbers are the ones you already have, so there is nothing new to enter and nothing to argue about.

  • Same books as accounting.Visits, average ticket and product sales come from the same books as your accountant reports. A visit is a paid bill, and sales are after discounts.
  • Their own progress, in their book.A team member who signs in with their own email sees how they are doing against their own targets.
  • Rating from real reviews. The rating comes from the reviews on that person’s visits that month.
  • Managers see them too.Managers see the numbers while the owner allows downloads for managers, as with the Accounting page.
Example: a team member’s own book.

A leaderboard, if you want one

See how the team is doing against each person’s own targets. It shows progress, not pay.

  • Names, visits and progress.Against each person’s own targets, never sales or tips.
  • For owners and managers. The owner can also let team members see it with “Team members can see the leaderboard”.
  • Off whenever you like.Turn goals off at any time. Your targets are kept.
  • Fair to every role. Each person is measured against their own targets, not against someone else’s.
Example: the leaderboard for owners and managers.

How it works

  1. 1

    Turn goals on

The owner opens Team Goals in the sidebar and switches it on.

  2. 2

    Set targets

Pick a monthly target for each person. Leave any you don’t want empty.

  3. 3

    Watch progress

Progress fills in from your visits, sales and reviews.

  4. 4

    Start fresh each month

Targets repeat, and progress starts over on the first.

Who it’s for

  • Barbershop

A visits target per chair, and a product target for the one who sells the most pomade.

  • Salon

Average ticket and review rating for each stylist, tracked all month.

  • Restaurant

An average ticket target for each server, with the leaderboard shown only to managers.

The small things

  • Nothing new to enter

Targets are the only thing you type. Everything else is read from your books and reviews.

  • You control who sees the board

The owner decides whether team members can see the leaderboard.

  • Targets repeat

Set them once and they carry into every month.

  • Sales stay private

The leaderboard never shows sales or tips.
