From the floor to payroll, without retyping
Hours, commission and tips for each pay period in one file for your payroll provider. And booth or suite rent that collects itself, on the schedule you set.
- One file for your provider
- Rent weekly, every two weeks or monthly
- Checked before you run payroll
- Cash tips and advances included
One file for your payroll provider
Each pay period’s hours, commission and tips for every person, prepared for you to import. Your provider runs payroll and taxes.
- Your provider, picked once.Gusto, RUN Powered by ADP, ADP Workforce Now, QuickBooks Payroll, or another.
- Hours, commission and tips.Hours from the time clock, commission from your rates, and the tips paid through NextUp Walk-in.
- Tiered commission comes out right. When a period’s total reaches a higher tier, the file pays the difference, so each person ends up with exactly their tiered commission.
- Three ways to download. The provider’s import file, a plain spreadsheet, or an Excel summary with hours by day.
Download the import file for your provider.
Checked before you run it
The Payroll page looks for the things that go wrong, so you fix them before the file goes to your provider.
- A time clock you already use.The On duty switch records each shift. A shift left on past closing ends at closing and is flagged for you to check.
- Problems listed first.Missing codes or IDs, open shifts, shifts to check, tips not sent yet, and people who left.
- Cash tips count too. Each person records cash tips on their book, so they land in payroll and on their statement with everything else.
- Cash advances.Paid back all at once or a little each pay period, off a renter’s statement or through payroll. Never from an employee’s tips.
Booth and suite rent that collects itself
Set rent for each renter, weekly, every two weeks or monthly. NextUp Walk-in takes it, and you decide what happens on the due date.
- Off what you owe first.Rent comes off what the business owes the renter, then from a card or US bank account the renter saves.
- You decide on the due date.Charge what is still owed, carry it over, waive it, or mark it paid another way. There is a pay now option too.
- Reminders and receipts.Renters get reminders and receipts, and you hear about any payment that fails.
- No NextUp Walk-in card fee on rent.Rent from a US bank account carries a lower, capped Stripe fee. Rent taken off a statement has no fee.
Commission, booth rent and suite rental can sit side by side.
