Appointments beside your walk-in line

Customers book a time from your Check-in Page. Your team sees every appointment on one calendar, by day, by week or as a list, next to the live line.

  • Day, Week or List
  • Book, move and block time
  • Deposits and reminders
  • Weekly or monthly repeats

One calendar for the whole team

See a location’s appointments by person on a day, by day in a week, or as a list. Times are always in the location’s time zone.

  • Book in a tap.Tap empty time or press New, pick the day, time, person and service, and save. Matching clients appear as you type.
  • Move by dragging.Drag an appointment to a new time, or open it and press Move. You can tell the customer the new time.
  • Block time.Close a stretch for one person, or the whole day. Blocked time closes those slots to online booking.
  • Clashes are flagged.A move or booking that clashes says why and offers Move anyway or Book anyway.
Example: a day on the calendar at Fade Room Barbershop.

Customers book from your Check-in Page

They pick a service, a team member (or anyone), a day and a time, one step at a time. Only open times are shown.

  • Checked as they book.Times fit the service’s length, the person’s working hours and their blocked time.
  • No double booking. Two customers can’t both take the last place in a slot.
  • Repeat visits.Regulars can book a weekly, every-two-weeks or monthly series of up to 12 visits at once.
  • Self-serve changes. Each confirmation links to reschedule or cancel, up to 2 hours before.
Example: the booking steps on the Check-in Page.

Deposits, reminders and a waitlist

Protect the booking and keep customers on time, without chasing anyone.

  • Deposits or a card on file.Charged on your own Stripe account. See No-show protection.
  • Reminders.A confirmation when they book, then reminders 24 hours and 1 hour before, by email. Texts follow once texting is switched on.
  • Tell me if a time opens. On a full day, customers can ask to hear when a time frees up.
  • Cancelled times go to your line. The first waiting walk-in it fits is offered the time, and has 5 minutes to take it.
Example: people waiting for an opening.

How it works

  1. 1

    Turn on appointments

In Location settings, choose a slot length and how many days ahead people can book (7 to 60).

  2. 2

    Set hours and blocks

Give each person weekly hours and block time off from their profile on the Staff page.

  3. 3

    Share your link

Customers book from the QR code or check-in link, and the calendar fills in.

Who it’s for

  • Barbershop

Keep the walk-in line for the afternoon rush and let regulars book their standing Saturday cut as a monthly series.

  • Salon

Book color appointments with a deposit, block a stylist’s lunch every Tuesday, and let “anyone” fill the gaps.

  • Tattoo studio

Hold an artist’s afternoon for a long session with a deposit, and send the reminder to the client by email.

The small things

  • Walk-ins and appointments together

Booked time counts in wait estimates, so walk-in quotes stay realistic.

  • My calendar

A team member with their own sign-in sees their own bookings.

  • Print the day

Print a day, a week or a list from the Calendar options.

  • Book their next visit

After checkout, offer up to three open times for the client’s next visit.

  • Your cancellation policy

Add policy text that customers see when they book.

Questions

Which plans have the calendar and online booking?

They are part of Pro (and Restaurant), and the free trial includes them. On Walk-in and Free the Appointments page shows an upgrade card.

Can I keep it walk-ins only?

Yes. Appointments are a switch in each location’s settings, and walk-ins run beside them when it is on.

Do customers get text reminders?

Email confirmations and reminders go out now. Text alerts switch on soon, once carrier verification finishes.
