Win back clients who agreed to hear from you

Build an email in minutes, add an offer with a code, and send it to clients who said yes. Send now or schedule it.

  • Email only
  • Only clients who opted in
  • Offer with a code and fine print
  • Templates for your trade

Build it from blocks

On the Email Marketing page, click New campaign. Start from a template written for your kind of business, one your team saved, or a blank email.

  • Blocks you drag.Header, headline, greeting, text, image, button, offer, “Get our app”, divider and sign-off.
  • Filled in for each client.{{first_name}} and {{business_name}} are filled in for every client.
  • See it before it goes.A live preview on a computer or phone, and Send me a test.
  • Writing help. With writing help on, Write it for me suggests three drafts.
Example: a win-back email at Fade Room Barbershop.

Send to the right people

A campaign goes only to customers who ticked “Stay in the loop” themselves at check-in, minus your unsubscribe list.

  • Choose a group.Everyone who agreed, recent customers, those who have not been back, regulars, birthdays this month, or a tag.
  • Or pick clients.Search by name or email and choose up to 500. Each email is addressed to that client.
  • Unsubscribe built in.Every email has an unsubscribe link, and anyone who unsubscribes is left out.
  • Bring your list once. The owner can import an email list one time. Those clients get a welcome email first.
Example: the audience step.

Put an offer in it

The offer block holds your deal, an optional code and fine print. Clients enter the code at checkout.

  • A percent or a flat amount.Shown in the campaign and entered at checkout.
  • One discount per service.A bigger member discount or offer code takes the service instead of a sale. A code counts only services that are not on sale.
  • Checks before it sends. The Review step shows whether it fits your daily limit. Anything left in [square brackets] must be fixed first.
  • Send now or schedule.Save a draft, schedule it, or send it. You can edit or delete until it starts sending.
Example: the Review step.

How it works

Start from one for your trade, or a blank email.

  2. 2

    Add the offer

Write the deal and an optional code, then choose who gets it.

  3. 3

    Send or schedule

Who it’s for

  • Barbershop

Email the regulars who have not been back in a while, with $10 off the next cut and a code.

  • Salon

Send a birthday-month note to the clients who agreed to hear from you.

  • Restaurant

Tell recent guests about a new menu or a seasonal special, with a button to your Check-in Page.

The small things

  • Your name as the sender

Emails arrive from your business’s name “via NextUp Walk-in”. A one-person shop can use its own name.

  • Bounces and spam

Addresses that bounce get no more, and a spam report puts the client on your unsubscribe list.

  • Free photos

Search free photos from Pixabay or upload your own.

  • Duplicate and templates

Save a campaign as a template or duplicate any one as a new draft.

  • You are the sender

Your business is responsible for following CAN-SPAM and any other law that applies.
