Every plan

Every payment has a name on it

A shared floor screen takes no payment, not even cash, until a team member signs in for their shift. Owners decide what each manager can refund, price and see.

  • No payment on the shared PIN screen
  • Sign in once per shift
  • Switches for each manager
  • Every action in the log

Sign in once, for your shift

A tablet opened with the location PIN can run the line, but it cannot take a payment until someone signs in on it.

  • A real sign-in.An owner, manager or team member with their own email sign-in uses a passkey, or email and password plus the 2-step code.
  • Who’s checking out?At checkout the screen lists everyone on shift. One person on shift goes straight on.
  • Start and end.Start my shift and End my shift sit on the screen, and its header says who is on.
Example: choosing who takes the payment.

Every payment names the person

Payments and the activity log record who was on shift for each one, so a question has an answer.

  • Only the checkout.A shift lets that person run the checkout panel on that tablet, and nothing else of their account.
  • Ends by itself. An hour after closing, after 2 hours unused, or when the location PIN or the person’s sign-in security changes.
  • You can end it.Owners and managers see who is signed in on each floor tablet under Team and can end a shift from there.
Example: who is on a tablet.

Switches you set for each manager

Owners choose, one manager at a time, what they may do with money.

  • Refunds, team pay and prices. Each is its own switch for each manager.
  • Fixed prices.Changed at checkout only by an owner, or a manager the owner allows, and each change is audited.
  • Tap to Pay on a phone.Owners and managers always can. Team members can when the owner turns it on, and it is in the activity log.
Example: a manager’s switches.

How it works

  1. 1

    Open the screen

With the location PIN, as usual.

  2. 2

    Start your shift

Sign in once with a passkey, or email and the 2-step code.

  3. 3

    Check out

Choose who is checking out and take payment.

  4. 4

    End your shift

Or let it end by itself after closing.

The small things

  • No lasting sign-in

Signing in for a shift does not leave the tablet signed in to anyone’s account.

  • Cancelling a bill

Refunds and cancelled bills keep their manager PIN control, shift or not.

  • Sign-in security

The 2-step code is strongly recommended for everyone with a sign-in, and owners can require it.
