One system for the whole visit, not five tools
Most small shops stitch together a waitlist, a booking app, a card reader, a marketing tool, a spreadsheet for team pay and a website. NextUp Walk-in is one system for all of it, built around the walk-in line.
- One login for everything
- 16 kinds of business
- Website builder, $19 a month per business
- Payments on your own Stripe account
The whole visit in one place
The line, the screens, checkout, clients and team pay share one account, so nothing is typed twice and nothing falls between two apps.
- Start with the line.Customers join by QR code or link with no app to download, and see their place and wait live on their phone.
- Every screen in the shop. The Staff Screen, the waiting-room TV, a door tablet kiosk and phone, tablet and TV apps, all on the same line.
- Checkout on the visit.Cash, a tip, a pay link or QR, a saved card or a Stripe card reader, from the visit itself.
- Add appointments when you want them.Online booking and a calendar sit beside the line on Pro, so walk-ins and appointments share one day.
Everything on one bill
A website that knows your shop
The website builder is part of the same account, so your site shows your real wait, services, prices and hours without a second place to update.
- Live from your line. The wait right now and a Join the line button that puts visitors in your real line.
- Always up to date.Services and prices, team, hours and locations come from your account. Change a price once and the site follows.
- $19 a month. On every paid plan (not on Free): $19 a month ($190 a year) per business, all locations included. The Booking times block is Pro.
$19 a month per business
Payments that stay yours
Card payments are processed by Stripe on your own Stripe account. NextUp Walk-in never holds your money, and the one fee we add is stated plainly.
- Your own Stripe account.Card payments, tips included, are charged on your account. You pay your team, and NextUp Walk-in shows what each person is owed.
- A small, capped fee.NextUp Walk-in’s card fee is 0.5% of card payments, never on tips, at most $1 a payment, on top of Stripe’s processing fee.
- Team pay statements.A statement for each person, less rent and advances, ready to export. Commissions, payroll and tip pools are Pro.
Export for your records
Built for 16 kinds of business
Barbershops and nail salons, pet groomers and chiropractors, car washes and restaurants: the type you pick changes the words on every screen.

- Starter lists for each trade.Licences and insurance with expiry reminders and a printable cleaning log, with starter lists for 16 business types.
- More than one shop. Each location has its own line and screens, with one brand, one catalog and one sign-in across them.

Questions
Is NextUp Walk-in a full point-of-sale system?
No. It takes payment for a visit’s bill (cash, a pay link or QR, a saved card or a Stripe card reader), but it does not connect to another point-of-sale system or to card readers other than Stripe’s.
What does it cost?
Free covers one location and one team member with 50 check-ins a month. Walk-in is $29 a month for the first location and $19 for each extra, and Pro is $59 and $39. Walk-in and Pro include 3 team members per location, then $10 a month each. The card fee is separate.
Is every feature on every plan?
No. The line, every screen, the apps, clients, messages and checkout with every payment method are on Walk-in. Appointments and online booking, memberships, packages, gift cards, commissions, payroll and campaigns are on Pro. The 14-day trial has every Pro feature.
Does NextUp Walk-in hold my money?
No. Payments are processed by Stripe on your own Stripe account, and NextUp Walk-in never holds your money.
