Branding and your website

Customize your branding (logo, colors, theme, fonts)

The Branding page in the dashboard sidebar styles every customer-facing screen with your own look: the join page, the waiting-room TV, the door tablet, the status page and the booking pages. Changes preview live on the right before you save.

You can customize:

  • Theme: light, dark, or one of several preset palettes, each with its own background, text and card colors.
  • Accent color: the color of buttons, highlights and the progress bar. Pick a preset or enter a hex value. NextUp checks it for readable contrast and picks a matching text color.
  • Logo: upload a PNG, JPEG or WebP logo (a square symbol and a wide wordmark), and choose whether to show the name, the logo, or both. Upload at least 400 by 400 pixels for crisp results.
  • Heading font and body font, with size controls.
  • A decorative background pattern and its intensity, plus TV-only options like the gloss overlay.

Click Save and all customer screens update immediately.

Is branding per location? What does branding not change?

Branding applies to every location in your account. It's account-wide, not per location.

Branding only changes customer-facing screens: the join page, status page, door tablet, TV, booking pages and branded emails and spreadsheets. The staff screen, the dashboard and admin pages always use the standard NextUp look, so your team sees a consistent layout. There's no custom HTML or CSS; branding is made of structured settings so every screen stays readable. Logos must be PNG, JPEG or WebP (not SVG), and location data is stripped from uploaded images.

Add the live queue to your website (embed widget)

You can add a live queue widget to your own website. It shows whether you're open, about how long the wait is, how many people are waiting, and a "Join the line" button, in your colors. Visitors don't need an account.

  1. Open the Help Center's Website embed section (or the Locations page) and copy the one-line snippet for your location.
  2. Paste it anywhere in your website's HTML: your homepage header, a "Book / Wait" page, or your contact or location page.

Most website builders (Squarespace, Wix, Webflow, WordPress) have an "Embed" or "HTML" block where you can paste it. The same join link also works in an Instagram bio or on your Google Business Profile.

Get found online (Instagram and Google)

The Get Found page in the dashboard sidebar collects what you need to put your line where customers already look: guidance for your Instagram bio and Google Business Profile, your join or booking link to copy, and your QR code to download.

Post your status page link so customers can check the wait before they drive over and join from their phone. If you set your Google Place ID in Location settings, it links your location to your Google Business Profile for reviews.
