# Hardware Compatibility

What works with NextUp Walk-in today, what is coming, and what we do not support. If a device is not on this page, we have not tested it, so please ask before you buy. The [equipment page](https://nextupwalkin.com/equipment) has the devices we would choose.

## Card Readers

Stripe Terminal readers sold in the US. Every business takes cards without a reader; a reader adds the tip screen and tap-to-pay at the counter.

Stripe Reader S700WorksWi-Fi, or Ethernet with Stripe’s hub or dock. A smart reader with a 5.5-inch touchscreen. It sits at the front desk, or goes to the customer, and runs the payment by itself.

Stripe Reader S710WorksWi-Fi, cellular, or Ethernet with Stripe’s hub or dock. The S700 with its own 4G/LTE connection, for a front desk where the Wi-Fi isn’t dependable.

Stripe Reader T600WorksWi-Fi, or Ethernet with Stripe’s hub. A larger reader with an 8-inch landscape screen that stays put on the counter, plugged in.

Stripe Reader M2Coming SoonBluetooth, to an iPhone or Android phone. A pocket-size reader a team member pairs to their phone in the NextUp app.

Tap to Pay on AndroidWorksThe phone itself: Android 8 or later, on phones Stripe supports. A feature of the NextUp app: the team member’s Android phone is the reader. The customer taps their contactless card or phone on it.

## Receipt Printers

Receipts print through your device’s own print dialog, so any printer the device can already print to works. There is no printer driver in the NextUp app.
