## Protect the booking

Require a card on file or a deposit at booking. Payment is on Stripe Checkout, on your own account.

- **You set the rules.**A card on file, or a deposit, per location.
- **A held time.**A booking holds its slot for 30 minutes while they pay, then releases it.
- **No surprise charges.**The no-show fee is never automatic. Staff charge it from the appointment.

## Fair to customers who cancel in time

Cancel before your cutoff and the deposit goes back to their card on its own. Cancel late, or do not come, and you keep it.

- **Your cutoff.**From 0 to 168 hours before; 24 by default.
- **Keeps its own cutoff.**A booking keeps the cutoff it was made with.
- **Rescheduling is fair.**Move before the cutoff and the cutoff moves with it.

## See who is reliable

Every client is marked Reliable, Mixed or Often misses, from their own visits and no-shows. A report ranks who misses most.

- **Context for the desk.**Not a public score. Only your team sees it.
