## Connect Google Calendar, one person at a time

Open the team member’s profile from the Staff page, or let them do it from their own sign-in, and follow the Google prompt.

- **Set per person.**One person connecting their calendar doesn’t affect anyone else.
- **Personal events close times.**A dentist visit on their calendar stops customers booking that time.
- **Appointments go the other way.**Their appointments in the NextUp app appear on their calendar.
- **Only real openings.**Customers booking online see times when that person is actually free.

## It works with hours and blocked time

Sync adds to the rules you already set. It never replaces weekly hours or time you block yourself.

- **Weekly hours.**Each person has their own hours for taking bookings.
- **Blocked time.**A whole day, a range of days, a few hours, or a weekly repeat for up to a year.
- **Anyone bookings.**When a customer books “anyone”, a time closes only when nobody on the team is free.

The Calendar options menu has Calendar links, so bookings show in Apple, Google or Outlook.
