# Follow-up emails that send themselves

Turn on a win-back, a rebooking reminder or a gentle no-show check-in for a location, and the emails go out on their own, only to clients who agreed to hear from you.

- Win-back, rebooking, no-show
- Off until you turn it on
- Stops when they come back
- Email only

## Three ready-made journeys

Find them in the Automations card on the Email Marketing page. Each is set per location, and the owner turns it on with its switch.

- **Win-back.**For clients who have not been back. The first email goes 45 days after their last visit by default (30 to 120), a second 7 days later and a last one 14 days after that.
- **Rebooking reminder.**For clients likely due back. The first goes 28 days after their last visit by default (7 to 365), then one nudge 7 days later. On every plan.
- **No-show follow-up.**A kind email about 2 hours after a missed appointment is marked a no-show, then one soft check-in about a week later.
- **Your own offer.**Add your own offer wording to the win-back’s second email, if you like.

**Rebooking reminder**First email 28 days after the last visit

**No-show follow-up**About 2 hours after a missed appointment

Switch each one on or off for each location.

## Yours to edit, with a preview

Nothing is sent that you have not seen. Preview who would start, and change the wording if you want your own voice.

- **Preview next 7 days.**Shows about how many clients would start a journey. It sends nothing.
- **Change the timing.**Enter the days and click Apply. The no-show follow-up timing cannot be changed.
- **Your own copy.**Edit a step’s subject and text, then Save my copy. The standard email is never changed.
- **Fill-ins.**{{first_name}}, {{business_name}}, {{last_service}} and {{offer_text}} are filled in for each client.

**Win-back**

**Email 2**7 days later · your offer wording

**Email 3**14 days after that

The card also shows journeys finished in the last 30 days.

Example: a win-back journey at a salon.

## Careful by design

Journeys follow the same consent rules as campaigns, and a few more that keep them from becoming a nuisance.

- **Only clients who agreed.**Those who ticked “Stay in the loop” at check-in. Their latest answer counts.
- **They leave when they return.**A client leaves a journey as soon as they visit again or book an appointment.
- **A cap on volume.**At most 1 journey email per client in 7 days and 4 in 30 days, across all automations.
- **Sensible hours.**Emails go out only between 9 AM and 7 PM in the location’s time zone, with your postal address and an unsubscribe link.

**Who gets a journeyAgreed to your emails**Latest answer counts

**On your unsubscribe list**Never emailedLeft out

**Outside 9 AM to 7 PM**Waits and goes later

## How it works

- 1

### Open Automations

On the Email Marketing page, find the card for your location.

- 2

### Check the timing

Keep the days or change them, then Preview next 7 days.

- 3

### Turn it on

The owner switches the journey on for the location.

- 4

### Watch it work

The card shows clients in progress, emails sent and journeys finished.

## Who it’s for

-

### Barbershop

A win-back for the regular who skipped a month, without anyone remembering to write it.

-

### Nail salon

A rebooking reminder about four weeks after a fill, when it is time for the next one.

-

### Dog groomer

A kind check-in after a missed appointment, so the client feels welcome back.

## The small things

-

### One unsubscribe covers all

The link in any journey email stops your journey, campaign and rebooking emails to that address, unless they agree again on a later visit.

-

### Managers can look

Managers can see Automations. Only the owner can change them.

-

### One reminder switch

The rebooking reminder here and the one in Location settings are the same switch, so nobody gets two first reminders.

-

### Counts toward your daily limit

Journey emails count toward your daily email limit. One that cannot go out yet waits and goes later.

## Questions

Which plans have it?

Win-back and no-show follow-up are part of Pro and the Restaurant plan, and the free trial includes them. The rebooking reminder is on every plan, including Free.

Do journeys send texts?

No. They send email only. Text alerts switch on soon, once carrier verification finishes.

Who gets them?

Only clients who ticked “Stay in the loop” at check-in, never anyone on your unsubscribe list or whose address bounced. Imported client records get none until they check in and agree.

What if a client comes back mid-journey?

They leave the journey as soon as they visit again or book an appointment.
